Gail joined GEM in 1972 and is now a partner. In 1979, she became the youngest person to be awarded the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Gail received her Recording Agent’s License in 1980.

Gail was featured in the November/December 1982 edition of the Texas Insuror, the official publication of the Texas Association of Insurance Agents, in an article entitled "The Quiet Revolution in Office Management” and in 1990, Gail was named Agency Employee of the Year by the Houston Association of Insurance Agents.

Gail served on the Board of Directors of the Houston Association of Independent Agents and on the Agents Advisory Councils of Hanover insurance Companies, Wausau Insurance Companies and Chubb Insurance Companies.
